About Me

Minneapolis, MN, United States
I seek for peace, goodness, god-ness, something like this. Sometimes I’m closer, sometimes I’m further away. Sometimes within me, always outside me. Yet, still I am seeking.

Learning

One of the most essential parts to life is learning. How you learn determines how successful you can be at anything you wish to be successful at. From willing to be successful the best you can get is what you can learn. Therefore learning is one of the most essential pieces to a person becoming the best form of themselves to the world and themselves. Does that mean we must learn a certain thing? What are the most important things to be learned out there?

School teaches people. And teaching is the food for which learning can feed right? Does school address the most essential lessons? Can you learn most of what you need in school? Surely not everything, then what are we missing? Where else do you learn? From your parents, friends, mentors, churches, mosques? Again, what voids have we filled and what have we missed? And if we've missed them, where are they lying?

I propose that if learning is so essential then knowing how to learn is the greatest skill one can possess. What does it require? Pride? Humility? There are certain indicators of better and worse habits for learning in life. These make or break the outcomes each of us receive.
